Safran Landing Systems is a subsidiary of Safran Landing Systems, a global leader in landing and braking systems for aircraft. The Mirabel plant is dedicated to the manufacturing of major components for landing gear for the Airbus A320, A330, and A350 models, and the Boeing 787. It features state-of-the-art equipment for machining, polishing, and special processes, including heat treatment, shot peening, and surface treatments.
The job involves performing chrome, zinc-nickel, and nickel plating operations through electrodeposition using anodes, forms, anode cages, tanks, chemical solutions, and other techniques.
Tasks include:
- Installing and adjusting the anode cage or anodes on the part
- Performing electroplating operations using plating or rinsing chemical solution tanks, in accordance with procedures.
- Controlling parameters (amperage, duration, etc.).
- Placing the part in the dehydrogenation oven and programming the heating cycle.
- Troubleshooting technical issues when necessary.
- Inspecting the part to ensure compliance with specifications and taking necessary measures if abnormal situations are detected.
- Organizing work and scheduling tasks based on received instructions regarding priority parts.
- Consulting technical documents on the computer such as work drawings, operation sheets, procedures, and updating, if necessary, the appropriate Quality Assurance documentation.
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of operations and achieving goals in terms of safety, quality, costs, and on-time deliveries.
Requirements:
- Diploma of Vocational Studies (D.E.P) in surface treatment, aircraft mechanical assembly, aircraft structural assembly, aircraft circuit wiring assembly, welding-assembly, or composite materials

Weekend Day Shift:
Friday: 2:10 PM to 8:10 PM, Saturday 6:50 AM to 6:50 PM, and Sunday: 6:30 AM to 6:30 PM
Note: Depending on the collective agreement rules, the position may change shifts (evening, night, or weekend)
