The City is looking for two horticulture technicians to support its greening activities and maintenance of outdoor infrastructures. The selected individuals will actively contribute to the quality and sustainability of municipal landscaping.
Position 1 – Monitoring Tree Planting Contracts
Main Responsibilities:
Ensure monitoring, follow-up, and quality control of horticultural work carried out under tree planting contracts;
Perform operational follow-up of contractors responsible for work in the City;
Conduct field inspections to verify compliance of work with plans, planting standards, and contractual requirements;
Participate in post-planting follow-up and recommend necessary adjustments;
Contribute to the success and sustainability of greening projects.
Position 2 – Management of Sports Fields
Main Responsibilities:
Perform technical work including research and analysis necessary for planning operations;
Ensure horticultural management of municipal sports fields;
Monitor the quality of surfaces (sports fields);
Participate in inspections, analyses, and planning of maintenance work;
Implement required actions to maintain optimal conditions of play areas.
The ideal profile for us
Hold a college diploma (DEC) in the field of ornamental horticulture;
Have twelve (12) months of relevant experience in the role, as described in the summary above.
