Vehicle Layout Technician

Perform various technical tasks involving the layout, installation, repair, and maintenance of communication, emergency, and other specialized equipment for police use.

Identify and resolve specific issues related to different types of vehicles and equipment in order to achieve standardization.

• Hold a diploma of vocational studies (DEP) in the field of electronics, electromechanics, or automotive electricity or any other related field;
• Have twelve (12) months of relevant experience in the role including layout, installation, repair, and maintenance of specialized emergency equipment for various types of emergency vehicles or relevant experience in a related field;
• Hold a valid class 5 driver's license (class 4A is an asset)
